Transition Tip of The Month
One of the exclusive programs overseen by Watson is Maristone Transitions. Once a person becomes a resident, "Transitions" will provide support to help deal with some of the issues that can come with change and aging.
At the Maristone, we are sensitive to the fact that not everyone has access to our communities. Those that don't, find our Transition Tips extremely helpful.
This month we focus on how to keep your loved one safe if they are starting to exhibit signs of wandering which sometimes occurs with Alzheimer's and Memory related disorders.
- First Wander Proof Your House
- Check Locks on Doors and Windows and Alarm All Exits
- Make Sure You Have An Updated Wandering Response Plan That You Can Access Quickly
- List All Emergency Responder Phone Numbers, Addresses and Area Hospitals

- Enroll Your Loved One in the Alzheimer Association's Safe Return Program
- Sign Up For A Special G.P.S. Recovery System
- Provide Your Loved One With The Latest in Non-Removable Cellular Based Tracking Technology From Companies Like Emfinders.
